Why Subpixel is BETTER?
If we upgrade the 2K LCD screen to higher resolution for 4K, the pixel size will be driven down to 31.5um. Furthermore, if a pixel can be divided into 3 subpixels, the resolution in one direction will be as fine as 10.5um, which is a dramatic improvement over the 2K LCD screen.

Orange 4K is born!
Orange 4K is improved with one stand cover, built by metal body and dual liner guide, which is more stable and reliable. And it’s integrated with 2.8” touch screen, plastic resin vat with scale and simple levelling declined built plate.
The printed volume of Orange 4K is 118*66*190mm(4.64”*2.6”*7.48”). Orange 4K is equipped with 5.5” lcd screen, and there’re color & mono screen in configuration, reaching at 4K resolution 812 PPI. When configurated with color screen, one pixel in XY direction is 31.5um; while update with mono screen, one pixel of X direction is 31.5um, but Y direction has driven down to 10.5um. Moreover, The LCD screen has been improved on manufacturing procedure, and coated with galss cover over the screen, which will be better on protection.
Orange 4K will be compatible with LongerWare, Chitubox & Lychee slicer, and we will setup the default printing parameter for color screen and monochrome screen. It will be much easier for user to select and configurate the printing parameter.
Orange 4K Color 3d printer is able to upgrade to mono screen as well, but need to update the firmware. When Orange 4K is configurated with mono screen, the printing speed is up to 2s per layer, which will be increasing by 300% to reach at 60mm/h.

Why Kickstarter?
Longer has our own R&D team and has the design ability for hardware, firmware embedded, mechanical, and slicer development. With months development and testing by our R&D team, the prototype of Orange 4K finally passed the test and printed with high qualified result.
Launching on Kickstarter is building the bridge between initial users and Longer, and we hope we will get more feedback from customers and even make more improvement before this printer push into market. The voices from initial users are important to us.
Longer 3D was established in 2014 but started with 3d printing material and industrial 3d printers. With years development on R&D, we have accumulated our own hardware designed ability, software and slicing algorithm on 3d printers and got 50 patents on 3d printing. We launched consumer 3d printers in 2018 and built with our own factory, then marketing with LONGER brand since 2019. Now we have established 10+ foreign warehouses, two fixing centers in US and three fixing service in Euro to provide better support service for customers. We keep the ultimate pursuit with our value: With Longer, Make it Better, to provide better quality and more affordable 3d printers for customers.
Risques et défis
This is our 2nd campaign on Kickstarter, and Orange 4K is the third product of our LCD SLA 3D printers line, but the ultra finest solution in market now. With our mature supply chain and according with quality control policy of our own factory, we are confident that this new product will be delivered as planned; because we are not only for Kickstarter campaign, but for the market of resin 3d printers. However, we still need to face some challenges and unexpected exception occurred during this project. For sure we will resolve the problems finally and keep the promised we made because we have the ability of hardware design, decoding on programming and slice software development of our R&D department. And we also will promise to keep update with our backers on this campaign.
